COLTS NECK, NJ — Colts Neck has cancelled the Sounds of Summer Show scheduled for Thursday evening due to inclement weather, the township said.
In an announcement sent on Thursday afternoon, township officials said the concert has been cancelled due to the expected weather forecast, which is calling for flash flooding across the state with up to seven inches of rain possible.
A State of Emergency has been declared in New Jersey, which went into effect at 2 p.m.

The performer originally scheduled for Thursday evening's concert was The Glen's, township officials said.
The Black Ties are scheduled to perform at next week's Sounds of Summer Show on Aug. 7, which is set to begin at 7 p.m.
