After a short search, authorities said fire was found in a front bedroom and extinguished.
As the fire was being put out, other fire department members used Morganville’s ladder to ventilate the roof directly above the fire room to remove smoke and heat, which were hampering visibility.
The fire is under investigation by the Marlboro Fire Bureau, authorities said. Patch has reached out to Marlboro Police for more information.
