Part one of the series, "God with Us," will debut on Dec. 15, while part two will launch in the first quarter of 2023, the news release says.

During the program, Hegseth and "his hometown church’s pastor" will retrace the steps of Jesus: where Jesus lived, healed, died and rose, according to the news release on the documentary. Hegseth has lived in Monmouth County, according to real estate records.

Hegseth and Durkin will travel to different sites, coupling each with Bible passages explained by Durkin, bringing the significant stories to life, the news release says.

The pair will visit:

  • The church in Cana where Jesus’ first miracle, turning water into wine, is said to have been performed.
  • The newly unearthed Pool of Siloam where Jesus is said to have cured a man’s blindness.
  • The underground archaeological excavation site of Pilgrimage Road, where Jesus and thousands of worshippers walked as they ascended to the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
  • The ancient city of Bethsaida, the hometown of the disciples and location of miracles including the “feeding of the five thousand,” where the foundations of First Century buildings still stand.
  • The Sea of Galilee and Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount was performed.
  • The ancient city of Capernaum, or The Town of Jesus.

The special will air on the FOX News Channel on Sunday, Dec. 18.

FOX Nation is a direct-to-consumer on demand streaming service designed to complement the FOX News Channel, the publicist said.
