Hundreds Without Power In Marlboro As Debby Makes Impact
JCP&L is reporting over 600 outages in Marlboro Township as of Friday afternoon.

MARLBORO, NJ — Over 600 people are without power in Marlboro due to the impacts of Tropical Storm Debby, JCP&L reported Friday afternoon.
As of 3:17 p.m. on Friday, JCP&L reported that 650 people are without power — about 4% of Marlboro Township.
In addition to Marlboro's power outages, the Township is also under a wind advisory until 11 p.m., Mayor Jon Hornik said.

According to Hornik, frequent gusts of 35-45 MPH winds will be possible, which (when combined with wet grounds), could have the potential to bring down trees and cause further power outages.
If residents haven't already, Hornik suggests they take the following steps to prepare for the weather:

- Secure any loose/light lawn or garden items
- Keep all personal electronics and backup batteries charged
- Gather flashlights and batteries
- Plan and prepare for an outage with the NJ Office of Emergency Management
