Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Bill Cleary: East Coast Diving Center is your friendly, full service PADI 5 Star scuba diving facility established in 1977. We offer courses from beginner to advanced. Our travel department offers vacations near and far. We are proud to be an OCEANIC, SHERWOOD, POSEIDON sales and service center.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Bill Cleary: We have been serving the SCUBA Diver and Snorkeler for 48 years from our Morganville store location.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Bill Cleary: The love for the underwater world, diving as a recreation, and my passion to introduce it to others.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Bill Cleary: Get the proper training, do it correctly and be open to a whole new world of adventure.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Bill Cleary: Seeing the new diver's expressions when they take that first breath underwater.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Bill Cleary: We were the first PADI 5 Star Scuba and Snorkeling facility in NJ.
