MARLBORO, NJ — County Bridge ML-3 is set to re-open to drivers on Wednesday after the county finished repairs ahead of schedule, Marlboro Township said.

The bridge and road are expected to re-open by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, according to officials. Once re-open, the detour will be removed.

The bridge was initially closed to the public toward the end of March after "severe deterioration" was discovered.

While it was closed, a signed detour was installed utilizing Ryan Road to State Route 9 to Taylor Mills Road/Lafayette Road. The county anticipated the closure lasting for 4-6 weeks.

"We are pleased to announce that the county has finished their repair ahead of schedule," township officials said Wednesday morning. "The detour will be removed, and the road/bridge will reopen. We thank you for your patience and the county for their quick work."
