No Injuries In Vehicle Fire On Route 18 In Marlboro
The fire was first reported to police on Wednesday morning and temporarily closed Route 18 North, Marlboro police said.

MARLBORO, NJ — There were no injuries in a vehicle fire that broke out Wednesday morning on Route 18 North just south of Route 79, Marlboro Police Captain Stephen Levy said.
Marlboro police first received called calls about the fire at 8:15 a.m.
The vehicle that caught fire was a 2004 grey Lexus owned by a Matawan resident, Levy said.

According to police, the fire was under control in about 30 minutes and closed Route 18 North for 45 minutes.
Once the fire was under control, Levy said one lane of Route 18 was reopened before the highway was fully opened at 9:15 a.m.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
