Over 1,700 households were without power as of 2 p.m. on Monday. Marlboro was most affected with 929 homes without power. Holmdel had the second largest report of outages with 481. Other towns reporting more than five outages in Monmouth included Aberdeen, Asbury Park, Colts Neck, Hazlet, Matawan, Middletown, Ocean and Tinton Falls.
