REAL ID Mobile Unit Coming To Marlboro Township

MARLBORO, NJ — A pop-up REAL ID mobile unit is coming to Marlboro this summer, township officials said.

On Tuesday, June 3, residents with appointments will be able to visit the mobile unit to obtain a REAL ID, which is a federal program administered by each state’s division of motor vehicles.

To determine if you need a REAL ID now or if you can wait until your license expires, you can visit the NJ MVC website, which has additional information on who needs a REAL ID and how to obtain one.

Appointments to obtain a REAL ID at the Marlboro pop-up will go live on Thursday (May 29) at 2 p.m. at this link. An appointment is required to obtain a REAL ID.

“I want to thank Senator Vin Gopal and the State MVC staff for their support,” Marlboro Mayor Jonathan Hornik said. “We understand the concern regarding obtaining the REAL ID and will continue to work with the state to have the Mobile truck in Marlboro as often as possible.”
