Road Painting, Street Closures: This Week's Road Work In Marlboro

See when and where you can expect road work to take place in Marlboro this week.

MARLBORO, NJ — Marlboro residents should be aware of road work, detours and road closures planned throughout the week.

Road work is scheduled to begin on Monday with center roadway line painting, officials said.

On Monday and Tuesday, the following roads will have the striping truck moving at slow speeds. Drivers are advised not to crowd the truck and not to cross over lines when cones are present, as the paint will still be wet.

  • Conover Road (from Rt. 79 to Rt. 520)
  • Pleasant Valley Road (from Rt. 34 to Reids Hill Road)
  • Pleasant Valley Road (from Reids Hill Road to Rt. 79)
  • Reids Hill Road from Pleasant Valley Road to the Township border with Holmdel
  • Nolan Road (from Rt. 79 to Reids Hill Road)
  • Robertsville Road (from Wyncrest Road to Gordons Corner Road)

On Tuesday and Wednesday, milling and paving will take place between Tennent Road and Pegasus Court on Harbor Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, officials said the road will be closed with a detour in place and police present.

In addition, Texas Road will also be closed from Greenwood Road to the Matawan border on Tuesday.

On Wednesday and Thursday, milling and paving operations will continue on Station Road. Work is set to begin at 7 a.m. between Hickory Lane and Briarcliff Drive and end at 5 p.m., officials said.

During this time, the road will be closed with a detour in place and police present.
