COLTS NECK, NJ — Drivers should be aware of an upcoming road closure planned for Route 537 in Colts Neck. On Monday, Dec. 16, the Monmouth County Highway Division will close Route 537 from Laird Road to Swimming River Road, officials said. The closure is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. A detour will be in place for drivers. In the event of inclement weather, the road closure will take place on Dec. 17, according to officials. Drivers should plan alternate routes as needed.
