No Students Involved In Crash By Colts Neck High School, Police Say

The crash occurred around 12 p.m. on Friday and impacted all eastbound traffic in the area, Colts Neck Police said.

COLTS NECK, NJ — A "serious motor vehicle crash" occurred on Route 537 in front of Colts Neck High School on Friday afternoon, Colts Neck Police said.

At 12:08 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the crash on Route 537, which impacted all eastbound traffic in the area. No students were involved in the crash.

As a result of the incident, police said eastbound lanes of Route 537 were closed between Five Points Road to Pheasant Drive. All westbound traffic is open.

The road is expected to be reopened around 4 p.m. Police are advising drivers to seek alternate routes and exercise caution in the area, as investigations are ongoing.
