‘Sounds Of Summer’ Concert Series Comes To Colts Neck

This summer, residents will be able to enjoy the sounds of rock, blues, country and more at Colts Neck's summer concert series.

COLTS NECK, NJ — The summer season is almost here, and in Colts Neck, the sounds of summer will be coming with it.

Starting on Thursday at 7 p.m., the “Sounds of Summer” Concert Series will kick off in Colts Neck and return each Thursday through the end of August, township officials said.

The weekly concert series will feature a variety of local talent and run from 7-8:30 p.m. every Thursday at Town Hall, pondside. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

The concert series schedule is as follows:

  • June 5: Brian Kirk & the Jirks (Rock n’ Roll)
  • June 12: Vintage Jamm (Music that Creates Memories)
  • June 19: The Alt (80s Alternative Rock)
  • June 26: Black Ties (The Beatles Night)
  • July 10: The Plaid Shirts (Country)
  • July 17: Band of the Two Rivers Brass Band (Overtures, Broadway Medley’s Novelty Tunes)
  • July 24: Chuck Lambert Band (Blues)
  • July 31: The Glen’s (70s Rock)
  • Aug. 7: Black Ties (Classic Rock)
  • Aug. 14: Rockit Fish (Favorite 80s & Alternative Dance Songs)
  • Aug. 21: The Last Whippoorwills (Bluegrass)
  • Aug. 28: Skip & Friends (Classic Southern Country Rock)
