Tell Us: Are You Writing Your Next Chapter?

Have you switched gears mid-career -- maybe through a job loss or divorce -- to follow your passion? Patch wants to tell your story.

Everybody has a story.

Over the last year, Marlboro-Colts Neck Patch has profiled many faces of our community and local businesses you see every day. These small businesses make our communities thrive, but the stories behind them are what makes them worth reading.

Like Maureen Dicker, who owned her own dance studio for years before stopping to focus on her family and cut back on teaching. Now, with grown children, Dicker looks to get back into schools through dance for little ones.

Patch is looking for women who are starting over, maybe because the kids have grown up and moved out or there's been a divorce, and using their passions as a springboard for a new career.

Does that sound like you? If you're starting to work on your next chapter, e-mail me at Kaitlyn.Anness@Patch.com and let's tell that story together.
