The Marlboro Fire Department is also joining the comedy ranks with Comedy for Cancer on Saturday at 7 p.m. Proceeds go to Centra State Hospital Cancer Research, Caitlin MacDonald, Centra State Hospital Queen candidate.
Join the Robertsville Fire Company for a Car Show this Sunday at 10 a.m. The Fire Company is holding a car show on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Marlboro Plaza parking lot on Rt. 9 North. All cars are welcome, $10 to enter a car. Free admission for the general public.

The Marlboro Kiwanis Club is still selling tickets for its First Responders Gala, which honors Marlboro firefighters and first responders. The Seventh Annual Dinner Dance Gala at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012. The festivities begin with a cocktail hour at 7 p.m., followed by dinner and dancing.
The Ashley Lauren Foundation is holding its annual fundraising Barn Tour in Colts Neck on Saturday, Sept. 29. This fundraiser is being held in observance of September’s National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This is a rare opportunity to visit some of Colts Neck’s exquisite farms and stables where champion hunter jumpers and thoroughbreds are raised and trained.
St. Mary's Church in Colts Neck is holding its annual Collectibles Show on Saturday, Sept. 29. Dealer tables will feature sports cards, coins and currency. Those attending are welcome to bring their own collectibles for free appraisals. Admission is free.
