Roads Remain Closed After Water Main Break In Marlboro
The intersection of Gordons Corner Road and Route 520 is expected to remain closed for a remainder of the evening, Marlboro Township said.

MARLBORO, NJ — The Marlboro Township Water Utility Division has sustained a water main break that took place Monday afternoon at the intersection of Route 520 and Gordons Corner Road, Marlboro Township said.
Though the break has been sustained, officials said the intersection of Route 520 and Gordons Corner Road is expected to remain closed for the remainder of the evening.
In addition to the intersection closure, officials said Route 520 westbound is closed at Carter Drive, alongside Route 520 eastbound closed at Ruby Drive and Gordons Corner closed at Patigo Lane and Carter Drive.

Detours are currently in place for the closures and Marlboro Police are on site to assist motorists.
Marlboro Township is asking drivers to avoid the area if possible.

Eight homes have been affected by lower water pressure/shutoff and have been notified in person, according to officials.
No water quality issues are associated with this break and the water is safe to drink, the Township said.
The Marlboro Township Water Utility Division will remain on site until work is complete, according to officials.
