MARLBORO, NJ — Drivers should plan alternate routes due to road work and closures planned for Marlboro this week.

Here's the latest update from Marlboro Township on roadwork happening throughout the week:

Aug. 20
Pleasant Valley Road will be closed between Route 79 and Center Street for roadwork until 4 p.m. There will be a detour in place and police on-site during the closure, according to officials.

Aug. 21
Pleasant Valley Road will be closed between Route 79 and Center Street from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for roadwork. Detours will be in place with police on-site during the closure, officials said.

Aug. 22
Overnight roadwork will be done at the intersection of State Highway 79 and Blossom Avenue from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., police said. There will be a partial closure with an alternating traffic pattern during the closure, officials said, and police officers will be on location.
