Aberdeen Police Investigating Series of Six Car Burglaries on Sept. 20

Aberdeen Township Police are investigating several burglaries of vehicles in the Cliffwood and Cliffwood Beach area.

Aberdeen Township Police are investigating the burglaries of several vehicles in the Cliffwood and Cliffwood Beach areas of the township, according to police officials.

The burglaries occurred sometime during the night or early morning hours during the weekend of September 20
and September 21. A total of six vehicles on Sunset Way, Woodmere Drive, Ellen Court, and Laurelhurst Drive were entered, with no signs of forced entry. An ipod, wallet, and cash were reported taken, according to Chief John Powers.

Residents are urged to lock their vehicles, remove all valuables, and immediately report suspicious activity to police. Anyone with information on these incidents should contact the detective bureau at 732-566-2054.
