Aberdeen Serial Flasher Taken Into Police Custody This Week
A man who police say has been flashing people around Aberdeen Township since February was located this week:
ABERDEEN, NJ - A man who police say has been flashing people around Aberdeen Township since February was located by police Tuesday, and charged, police said.
The man was taken into police custody Tuesday, Aberdeen Police announced on their Facebook page. His name has not been released.
Since February, the man — described as a white man in his mid-20s driving a black Chevy — exposed himself while parked next to his victims at traffic lights, Aberdeen police said.

"Beginning in February, the Aberdeen Township Police Department became aware of a series of lewdness incidents occurring within the Township," said police. "The defendant was reported to expose himself while parked next to his victims at traffic lights. As the investigation unfolded, the Aberdeen Detective Bureau made a positive identification of the male."
The man was taken into police custody without incident during a motor vehicle stop on Tuesday, police said.

“We take these incidents seriously and are extremely happy to have the opportunity to provide some closure to the victims,” Aberdeen police said in a statement.
