Harold Kee Rhow, 80, of Matawan Dies

Harold Kee Rhow, of Matawan, entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2012 at the age of 80.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Anne “Peggy” Beitler Rhow; daughters Pamela J. Norton of Annapolis, MD, and Susanne J. Karmin of NYC; granddaughters Messina Norton of Annapolis, MD and Isabella Karmin of NYC; one great granddaughter, Natalya Boothe of Annapolis, MD. Predeceased by son, Timothy J. Rhow. Also survived by brothers, In Kee Rhow of Seoul, South Korea and Hung Kee Rhow of Elmhurst, NY; sisters, Ae Jung Yang of Seoul, South Korea, Ae Young Chang of Fort Lee, NJ and Kum Ja Lee of Woodside, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

Harold served in the Korean army as a liaison officer to US forces before immigrating to the states. He attended American University in Washington, DC. He was a real estate broker and owner of Maxiland Realty, Inc. in NYC, practicing for over 22 years. Formerly, he was a merchandise manager for the Navy Exchange Resale System, serving the organization in many stateside and overseas locations.
