Kenneth William Ganson, 80 of Matawan, New Jersey passed away on April 8, 2012 at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank. Surviving are his wife, Randi Holt Ganson; his son, Kenneth Warren Ganson and his wife; Their daughter, Katherine Alaine Ganson, his step-sons Knut &amp; Jan Holt and their wives, step-daughter, Lisa Kristiansen, 3 brothers Oak, Clarke,&amp; Steward Ganson, step grandchildren Greta Wood, Eric &amp; Keith Holt, Jason Holt, Kristy O'Connor, Tina Hughes, Lisa DeMadna, Christian &amp; Nicole Kristiansen and 9 great grandchildren. Ken served in the <a href="http://www.legacy.com/memorial-sites/navy/?personid=156968823&amp;affiliateID=2382" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">U.S. Navy</a> from 1951-1955 aboard the USS Tutuilla. After discharge he joined the AT&amp;T Bell Laboratories team in the product development shop as a precision instrument tool and die maker. He retired after 37 years. He was an active member of the Sons of Norway Lodge #466 and an exempt member of the Holmdel Fire Dept. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
