Mary F. Budge of Aberdeen Dies

Mary F. Budge of Aberdeen passed away on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 surrounded by her family. Born in the Bronx, she graduated from The Villa Nova Academy. The family moved to Cliffwood Beach in 1963, where they raised eight children. She continued her education and received her nursing degree in 1981 from Middlesex County College, where she graduated at the top of her class. She was an RN and worked for Woodbridge Developmental Center for over 20 years before retiring. To her children and grandchildren she was an inspiration; always trying to guide them. For the matriarch of this family, whose love had no bounds, there are no words. She will be in our hearts forever. Her siblings knew her as the smart and loving older sister. Her clients at work understood her dedication and care of them. Her friendships endured time and she still enjoyed cruising and weekly dinners with them. Her heart and spirit touched so many lives.

Mary was predeceased by her youngest son, Andrew, who left behind his loving wife Cindy and their three children. She is survived by her children, Kevin, Timothy, Michael, Tricia, Steven his wife Janet, John his partner Judy, and Katherine her husband Jimmy. She is the loving Nana, whose wisdom, wit, and inspiration will be missed by her 13 grandchildren: Jenna, Kristie, Amy, Tara, Lisa, Michael, Kacey, Timothy, Gina, Kevin, Sean, Katherine and Erin.

Instead of grieving, we are celebrating her life with family and friends at Yesterday's Restaurant in Hazlet on Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 7 pm till 10 pm. The eulogy will begin at 7 pm followed by a gathering to pay tribute to her life.
