Michaele Matthews, 65, of Matawan Dies

Michaele Matthews, 65, of Matawan, passed away Tuesday May 16, 2012 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was employed for many years as an attendant with the Waitt Funeral Home and worked as a crossing guard for Matawan Boro Police Department. She was born in Perth Amboy and had remained a lifelong resident of Matawan.

She leaves behind her husband of 43 years A. Joseph Matthews of Matawan, a daughter Cheryl Matthews of New York, a brother and sister-in-law Zane and Geri Anson of Florida, a sister and brother-in-law Mary Jean and George Duncan of Florida, a sister-in-law Marybeth Thompson also of Florida, 4 nieces and 2 nephews and her beloved dog Rocky.

In honor of her wishes Michaele is being privately cremated under the direction of Waitt Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ.
