
Elizabeth R. Dilks, 87, of Davenport died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 due to heart failure. She was born August 21, 1925, in Newark, NJ, to William and Rose (Rothwell) Fern. She moved to Florida in 1993 from Aberdeen Township, NJ.
Mrs. Dilks was active in the First Aid Auxiliary of Matawan Township, NJ, American Legion Auxiliary of Matawan Township, NJ, and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
She was predeceased by her parents; son Samuel M. Dilks; and daughter Dianne Douglas. Mrs. Dilks is survived by her husband Samuel Dilks; sons William (Carol) Dilks of Shrewsbury Township, NJ, and James (Liz) Dilks of Jackson, NJ; daughter Deborah (Richard) Laverty of Murfreesboro, TN; brother Edward (Betty) Fern of Darthmouth, Nova Scotia; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, September 14, 2012 from 5-7PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City with Funeral Mass Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 12 Noon at St. Ann Catholic Church, Haines City.
