Howard Steven Meistrich, 64, of Matawan, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital. Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Ocean Township before moving to Matawan. He worked for Nestle Company in Central Jersey for 20 years before retiring. He is survived by his children, Michael of Atlantic Highlands and Leslie of Freehold; his grandson, Brandon; and his former wife, Addie. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20 at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. The service will be officiated by Rabbi Brooks R. Susman. Arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home of Manalapan.
