
Irene Madeline (Meyer) Blankley, 89, of the Cliffwood section of Aberdeen entered into eternal life on August 14, 2012. Born in Jersey City, she was a Cliffwood resident for the past 54 years. Mrs. Blankley was a member of the Trinty United Methodist Church in South Amboy and was a member of the United Methodist Women and a member of the Workshop Ladies at the church.
Daughter of the late, Andrew and Magda (Christopher ) Meyer, she was also predeceased by her husband, Elijah Blankley who passed away in 1999; her brothers and sister, Alfred, Edward, Roy and Doris Marie Meyer.
Surviving are her children and their spouses; Guy & Cheryl Blankley of Ocean View, Gail & John Wagner of Cliffwood, and Doris Marie Blankley & James Orbine of Asbury; and grandchildren, Peter Wagner and his wife Sandra, Kristine Wagner-Thibaut and her husband David, Jill Lynn Stegner and her husband Anthony, John Wagner and his wife Heather, Paul Blankley and his wife Jennifer, Mark Blankley and his wife Jennifer, also Rebecca, Grace, Andrew, Zachary and Charlotte Orbine; great grand children, Cassidy and Nickolas Wagner, Joshua, Kenya and Logan Wagner, William, Elizabeth and Kaitlyn Blankley, Anthony and Elizabeth Stegner, Madeline Wagner and great-greatgrandson Chase Wagner and her brothers, Donald Meyer of Toms River and Richard Meyer of Flanders.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 815 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Private cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" at 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy.
