Joeal C. Tully, 81, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 11, 2012 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey.
Joeal was born on June 27, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey, where he grew up. In 1954, he and his wife Mary settled in Matawan, New Jersey, where he was a regular customer of the for many years. Joeal loved bowling, visiting the Monmouth Park Race Track and spending time in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph P. and Areal D. Wilson Tully, his beloved and devoted wife, Mary Cassidy Tully and his brother, Robert Tully. Joeal is survived by his loving daughters, Barbara Armenti and her husband Joseph of Hazlet, New Jersey, Lorraine DeVirgilio and her husband Joseph of Hazlet, New Jersey, his brothers, Dale and Phillip Tully and his cherished grandchildren, Joseph Armenti, Jimmy Armenti, Jessica DeVirgilio, Lauren Armenti and Frankie DeVirgilio. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visiting hours. In respect of Joeal's wishes, he will be privately cremated.
