Obituary: John N Masucci Sr.

John N. Masucci Sr., 73, of Toms River passed away at Jersey Shore Medical Center October 18th, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newark he resided in Matawan prior to moving to Toms River in 2001. He worked as a lab technician for Benjamin Moore Paint in Newark for 38 years until his retirement in 1998. He was an US Army Veteran, member of the Holiday City Silver Ridge Italian American Club, former director of Holiday City Berkeley Shareowners, Vice President of Holiday City Berkeley Bingo Association and enjoyed playing cards and bowling. He was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Florence Masucci (nee Scully) and brothers Alfonse and Thomas Masucci. Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years Jo Ann Masucci (nee Giunta); son John N. Jr. and wife Francine Masucci of Freehold; daughters Lynn and husband William Puchnik of Toms River, Lori and husband Peter Magoulas of Wall and Lisa and Dominick Tringali of Marlboro; and grandchildren Anthony, Gianna, Alexandra, FrankieLynn, Nicholas, Aris, Olivia, Ceira and Veronica. Visitation will be Friday October 21st, 2011 from 1-3pm and 6-9pm at Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Funeral Mass will be Saturday October 22nd, 2011 at 9am at St. Joseph's Church Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery Toms River.
