Patricia A. (Cummings) Shortal, 72, of Keyport, passed away, Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at home. Born in Manhattan, she resided in Chelsea, NY, before moving to Keyport 22 years ago. For 28 years, she worked as a property manager for public housing, retiring in 2004.
Patricia was predeceased by her beloved husband, John Shortal in 2011; and a brother, John Cummings. She is survived by her loving children, Jack Shortal of Keyport; Patrick Shortal and his wife, Nathalie of Coral Gables, FL; a brother, Thomas Cummings; sisters, Miriam Smith and her husband, Edward of Hoboken; Alice Doherty and her husband, James of Hazlet; Gerry and Daniel Bornschein of Hollbrooke, Long Island; and two cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Lauren. Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
