Obituary: Susan Zoll, 83, of Matawan

Susan M. (Hess) Zoll, 83, of Matawan, passed away, Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at home. Born in South Amboy, she resided in Sayreville before moving to Matawan 48 years ago. She worked as a school teacher with the Elizabeth School System and also with South River and Matawan. She was a graduate of Rider College. 

Susan was predeceased by her parents, Rudy and Susan Kidd Hess; and a daughter, Katherine Zoll in 2011. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frederick Zoll; her children, James Zoll and wife, Susan of Flanders; and Carolyn Craig and husband, Thomas of Helmetta; two brothers, Thomas Hess and wife, Fran of Bonita Springs, FL and Robert Hess and wife, Barbara of Smithfield, NC; four cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Tucker, Robert Tucker, Timothy Zoll and Kevin Zoll; a cousin, Janet Hardy of Spotswood; and twin sisters-in-law, Jean Chubway of Woodbridge; and Joan Travisano and husband, Renny of South Amboy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
