Anna Buonacquista, 43, of Matawan Dies

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Anna Buonacquista, 43, of Matawan, passed away on Jan. 6 at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Staten Island to the late James and Anna St. John, she resided there before moving Bayonne and then to Aberdeen five years ago. Anna worked as an office manager for the law firm Florio Kenney in Hoboken. She enjoyed spending time at the beach and playing cards with family and friends. Most of all, she was a loving wife and mother who devoted her time and attention to her family. She was active in many of her daughters dance and sporting events.

Surviving is her husband of 23 years, John Buonacquista of Matawan, her daughters Erica and Anna Rose Buonacquista, of Matawan, two brothers, James St. John Jr. of Marlboro, William St. John of Staten Island, four sisters, Debra St. John of Old Bridge, Joanne St. John of Matawan, Mary Weintraub of Marlboro, and Jill Barton of New York.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Hwy 79, Morganville. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home at 10 AM with interment to follow in Old Tennent Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family via www.waittfh.com
