Aberdeen PD: Criminal Mischief, Burglary

Officers responded to or initiated 255 calls for service between Dec. 21 and Dec. 27, including 16 suspicious persons/vehicles; 17 alarms; 22 first aid calls; 7 domestic violence incidents; 12 motor vehicle crashes; eleven 9-11 hang up calls; and 61 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 44 motor vehicle summonses, according to Police Chief John Powers.

• A 60-year-old township resident was arrested on Dec. 21 by P.O. Raymond Campbell for simple assault. He was released on his own recognizance.

• A 38-year-old township resident was arrested by P.O. Matthew Lloyd on Dec. 21 for driving with a suspended license. He was released on a summons.

• A 37-year-old township resident was arrested on Dec. 21 by P.O. Craig Hausmann for contempt of court out of Aberdeen municipal court. She was turned over to the Old Bridge police.

• James Goedeke, 58, Colonial Terrace, Colts Neck, was charged with criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of pepper spray following a call of a person trespassing at the Monmouth County Vocational School on Dec. 21. He was released on summonses. P.O. Gus Grivas was the arresting officer. He was assisted by Sergeant Frank Sigismondi, DSG Mike O’Dwyer, P.O. Matthew Lloyd, and P.O. Darryl Richardson.

• A 38-year-old township resident was arrested on Dec. 22 by P.O. Raymond Campbell for simple assault. He was released on his own recognizance. P.O. Roger Peter, and P.O. Brian Alberti were the assisting officers.

• A 22-year-old Old Bridge man was arrested by P.O.Frank Maisano on Dec. 22 for contempt of court out of Millstone municipal court. He was turned over to the New Jersey State Police.

• Tyshaun Lester, 28, Bluebell Drive, Jackson, was charged with burglary and criminal mischief of a residence on Cross Road following a domestic dispute on Dec. 25. He was released on $5,000.00 bail. P.O. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer.

• A 20-year-old township resident was arrested on Dec. 25 by P.O. Edgar Serrano for simple assault. He was released on $2,500.00 bail.

• P.O. Craig Hausamann arrested Mark Dietz, 36, Dogwood Drive, Jackson for disorderly conduct on Dec. 25, following a call of someone sleeping in their vehicle. He was released on a summons.

• Moriah Trumpore, 29, 7th Street, Waretown, was charged with terroristic threats on Dec. 27. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correction Facility in default of $5,000.00 bail. P.O. Matthew Lloyd was the arresting officer.

• P.O. Martin Walsh responded to a harassment complaint on Hilltop Avenue on Dec. 21.

• On Dec. 21 P.O. Darryl Richardson investigated criminal mischief done to concrete benches at Piazza Di Roma on Highway 34.

• P.O. Darryl Richardson responded to a report of shoplifting at the BP gas station on Highway 34 on Dec. 21.

• P.O. Martin Walsh investigated a report of interference with custody on Joyce Street on Dec. 22.

• On Dec. 23 P.O. Martin Walsh responded to a report of a juvenile committing criminal mischief to a residence on Belaire Court.

• P.O. Michael Lasko investigated a report of a simple assault by a former employee at the Aberdeen Car Wash on Cambridge Drive on Dec. 23.

• On Dec. 23 P.O. Martin Walsh investigated the theft of a basketball backboard and post from a residence on Netherwood Drive.

• On Dec. 23 a resident of Raritan Street confronted someone burglarizing his vehicle. The subject subsequently fled. P.O. Christopher DeSarno is investigating.

• On Dec. 23 Special Police Officer Michael Sullivan investigated a report of phone harassment on 7th Street.

• On Dec. 24 a burglary and theft occurred at a residence on Idlewild Lane. P.O. Griffith responded. Detective Henry Chevalier is conducting the follow-up investigation.

• On Dec. 25 a resident of Cambridge Drive found a home-made rocket lodged in the roof of his home. P.O. Mary Johnston investigated.

• P.O. John Young responded to a report of illegal dumping on the beachfront on Dec. 27.
