ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police Department made the following arrests August 1 through August 31:
On August 2 a 33-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with harassment following an incident on Central Avenue. Ptl. Darocha was the arresting officer.
On August 3 a 22-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Church Street. Ptl. McDow was the arresting officer.

On August 3 a 69-year-old male resident of Long Branch, NJ was charged with possession of a firearm without a serial number, discharge of a firearm and possession of a high capacity magazine following an incident on Netherwood Drive. Ptl. Evan Tyler was the arresting officer.
On August 4 a 52-year-old male resident of Brooklyn, NY was charged with theft following an incident on Linda Circle. Ptl. Carmen Catena was the arresting officer.

On August 4 a 23-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on warrants issued by the Sayreville Municipal Court. Ptl. Andrew Gioia was the arresting officer.
On August 4 a 41-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Lloyd Road. Ptl. Dennis Natale was the arresting officer.
On August 4 a 22-year-old male resident of East Windsor was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Hakim Bryant was the arresting officer.

On August 7 a 25-year-old male resident of Fairless, PA was charged with shoplifting following an incident at ShopRite. Det. Thomas Wagner was the arresting officer.
On August 8 a 23-year-old male resident of Brooklyn, NY was charged with shoplifting following an incident at the ShopRite. Ptl. Hakim Bryant was the arresting officer.
On August 8 a 34-year-old male resident of Highlands, NJ was charged with burglary, criminal mischief and theft following incidents on State Highway 35. Det. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
On August 12 a 26-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on warrants issued by the Aberdeen municipal court. Ptl. Evan Guastaferro was the arresting officer.
On August 13 a 55-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with simple assault, aggravated assault and resisting arrest following an incident on North Concourse. Ptl. Samuel Benson was the arresting officer.
On August 14 a 35-year-old male resident of Sayreville, NJ was charged with obstruction of justice following a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 35. Ptl. Royce Tucker was the arresting officer.

On August 17 a 38-year-old male resident of Matawan, NJ was charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a weapon following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Avenue. Ptl. Christopher Vetter was the arresting officer.
