Board of Education Approves Two New High School Science Classes
The classes will be available in September 2012

The Board of Education approved "Anatomy and Physiology" and "The Physics of the 21st Century" for Matawan Regional High School students at their regular action meeting Jan. 23.
According to the board's agenda, the Anatomy and Physiology course will provide more options for students and give them a stronger science background if they choose to pursue a degree in a health care field, such as in radiology or athletic training.
"Having researched many of the health care fields offered by both two and four year colleges we found all have at their core curriculum two semesters of Anatomy and Physiology," the agenda states.
