"The Ever After” is a fun family one act musical that answers the question “What really happened after the princess rode off with the prince?” Set on the stage of Sally Jesse Donnatella Raphael, a popular daytime television talk show, that question is finally answered. Garden State Players. At the Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave. Performance times are Fri-Sat 8 p.m.; 3 p.m. Sunday.
What: Enjoy a benefit concert for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for Children's Cancer Research, with a reception to follow.
When/Where: Saturday, Jan. 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the in Matawan
Cost: Admission is free with a goodwill offering taken. All proceeds will be donated to Children’s Hospital for Cancer Research. (Donations can also be made by clicking here.)
What: Grab a few laughs with the film, "A Matter of Size," directed by Erez Tadmor and starring Togo Igawa, Levana Finkelstein, Alon Dahan and Dvir Benedek. This comedy concerns four overweight friends from the Israeli city of Ramle, who are fed up with dieting and the weight loss club they belong to. Herzl has been struggling with his weight ever since he was a child, and his overbearing mother doesn't make it easy on him. When he loses his job as a cook and starts washing dishes in a Japanese restaurant, Herzl discovers the world of Sumo, where large people are honored and appreciated.
