OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Many people in Old Bridge commented on Facebook that they saw a helicopter land in the Township Thursday night, and many expressed concern that a local child out trick or treating had been hit by a car, or otherwise somehow injured.
Old Bridge Police Sgt. Richard Mustacchio told Patch Friday morning that the helicopter was a private transport picking up a medical patient.
It was not law-enforcement related, so there was no emergency police had to respond to.
