Who's on the ballot in Matawan, Aberdeen and for U.S. Senate and House of Representatives:

MATAWAN, NJ — Here is who is running for Matawan town Council this November:

Voters will be asked to choose two:

  • Suzanne Reynolds (R) Monmouth County Republican Organization
  • Charlie Ross (R) Monmouth County Republican Organization - current Matawan Councilman, seeks re-election
  • John Christopher (D) Monmouth County Democrats
  • Megan L. Taraszkiewicz (D) Monmouth County Democrats

Aberdeen does not have a town council or mayor election this year.

For the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional Board of Education, here is who filed to run.

  • Dianna Pell, Parents Who Lead (current Board president, seeks re-election)
  • Dusty Dyer, Parents Who Lead
  • Shelley Gershner, Educate. Support. Protect.
  • John "Jack" Montone, Support Our Students

From Matawan borough, voters are asked to choose one:

  • Katie Feiles, Students First

Matawan/Aberdeen residents will also be asked to choose a Congressman: This area's longtime Democratic Congressman Frank Pallone is challenged this year by Republican Scott Fegler, who grew up in Matawan.
