Laurence Harbor Firehouse Hosts Open House This Sunday
Bring the kids for a nice outing. Sunday's open house is also a great opportunity for anyone curious about volunteering:

LAURENCE HARBOR, NJ — Laurence Harbor Fire will hold an open house this Sunday, Oct. 20, from noon to 3 p.m. at the firehouse.
Laurence Harbor Fire Department invites the community to tour their open house:
- Fire House 1, 20 Laurence Parkway, Laurence Harbor
- Fire truck and station tours
- Extrication and Fire Safety Demos
- Meet our members and learn about volunteering
Everyone is invited to tour the firetrucks and station, meet the firefighters, watch vehicle extrication and fire safety demonstrations, see the Pink Heals fire truck and enjoy refreshments.

“All of us at Laurence Harbor Fire Department look forward to seeing everyone and showing them some of the skills and equipment we use to keep the community safe,” said Fire Chief Brian Stitzel. “Along with the truck and station tours and demonstrations, we’ll offer fire safety tips for the whole family.
The Open House is also a great opportunity for anyone curious about volunteering.

"We are a 100 percent volunteer fire department, and we need more volunteers to answer our community’s calls for help," said Stitzel. "Volunteer firefighting is a rewarding and exciting way to make a difference right here where you live. And you don’t need experience to get started – training is free."
