Lombardi's to Close Aberdeen Location in February
Family-owned business plans to merge with Tommy's Coal Fired Pizza
, the family-owned foodstore, grill, pizzeria and catering company hybrid, will be closing their Aberdeen location in mid-February.
The Lombardi brothers, however, do not plan on shutting their business down completely. They are growing their business by joining forces with another family-owned restaurant called Tommy's Coal Fired Pizza.
"We're not really closing; we're just closing this facility," Chris Lombardi said. "We don't really have a full service restaurant. They have a restaurant and we have a catering business."

Tommy's currently has three locations - Red Bank, Oakhurst and Brick. Chris said they are also considering opening a fourth location in Paramus.
Chris and Matt Lombardi and the owners of Tommy's know each other through mutual family friends. Chris said that the merge is a great opportunity for Lombardi's, and it will allow them to focus on the catering end of their business.

In a letter handed out to customers, the brothers write, "Our promise to you is: same family recipes, same service, same quality, same commitment, much more to offer!"
Since the location won't close down until about Feb. 15, make sure to stop in and take advantage of their Super Bowl and Valentine's Day specials, or grab a final lunch box special.
