Matawan Dance Team Wins Sportsmanship Award

The Matawan Regional High School Dance team faced off with high schools from across the Northeast at the UDA (Universal Dance Association) Battle of the Northeast competition Sunday, hosted at South Brunswick High School.

Matawan competed in varisty division jazz and hip hop, and one dancer performed a solo. The ladies placed fourth in jazz, fifth in hip hop and Sabrina placed sixth with her senior division solo.

During the award ceremony, Matawan was honored with the Sportsmanship Award for their congenial treatment of the other teams.
