Meet The 2 Matawan Republican Candidates Tuesday Night

Charlie Ross and Anissa Esposito ask voters to come out and meet them at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Washington Engine Hall:

MATAWAN, NJ — The two Republican candidates for Matawan mayor and council this year will hold a town hall-style meeting Tuesday night to meet residents and answer their questions.

The Republican candidates are Charlie Ross for mayor and Council candidate Anissa Esposito.

They ask voters to come out and meet them at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Washington Engine Hall, 176 Jackson Street in Matawan.

"This event will provide Matawan residents with an opportunity to hear from the candidates about their priorities for Matawan," say the candidates. "We want to hear from the stakeholders what are the most pressing issues and concerns of the community."

The event is free, although donations are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.

The election is Nov. 7.

Ross and Esposito are facing off against Democrats Joseph Altomonte, seeking re-election, Council President Deana Gunn, also seeking re-election, and newcomer Arlan Feiles for town council.
