MRHS and Lebanon Valley Concert Choirs Join Vocals

The workshop took place at Matawan Regional High School

The Lebanon Valley Concert Choir joined vocals with the Matawan Regional High School Concert Choir for a workshop on Friday, March 23.

The two choirs performed several selections for one another, including Randall Stroope's "The Pasture", "Joshua Fought the Battle of Jericho", and a love song.

Once both groups sang, they joined together as one large choir and learned an a cappella version of Cold Play's "Viva La Vida." MRHS teacher and choir director Andre Baldasserini led the group of over fifty young singers.

"I was dying. Their blending was mind boggling," said Matawan senior and choir member Kaitlyn Nastro of Lebanon Valley's performance. "I can only hope that I can join a choir like this when I get older and go to college."
