Mt. Airy Casino Trip Scheduled for Aberdeen Seniors

Sign up before it's too late to enjoy a June 6 trip to the Poconos

The Aberdeen Township Recreation Department has scheduled a senior citizens trip on Wednesday, June 6 to the Mount Airy Casino in the Poconos.

The trip is open to Aberdeen seniors age 55 and older. Non-residents can sign up after the April 10 resident deadline, if space is available.

The cost of the trip, $18.00 for residents and $23.00 for non-resident seniors, includes a ticket for a show at the casino, $25 in tokens and a free buffet.

Busses will depart from the parking lot of the A&P shopping center on Highway 35 in Cliffwood at 8:00 a.m and from Temple Shalom, located on Ayrmont Lane and Church Street, at 8:15 a.m.  Busses will return home at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Checks should be made payable to “Aberdeen Recreation.”  Township seniors who are members of the VFW Senior Citizen Club are asked to sign up at the club meeting.  Non-members may sign up at the Recreation Department Office located at the Aberdeen Township Municipal Building or through the mail. All trips are non-refundable.  Checks should be sent to the attention of M.
