Dunn, Venkatesan, Slade Lead Old Bridge BOE Race: Unofficial Results

All 55/55 voting precincts are now in, and here are the unofficial results of the Old Bridge school board election:

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — All 55/55 voting precincts are now in, and here are the unofficial results of the Old Bridge school board election. Here are the vote results: https://www.middlesexcountynj....

Six people ran; voters were asked to choose three:

Richard Dunn, former Old Bridge BOE member, trying to get back on the school board: 14,871

Kiran Venkatesan: 9,135

Jay Slade, current Old Bridge school board member, seeks re-election: 8,835

Carl Von Stetten: 6,712

Mireille Cameau-Wicks: 6,567

Brooke Richards-Patterson: 6,371

It is an "off" year for Old Bridge town council elections, but there was a special election for the Ward 2 Council seat:

  • Darin Accettulli, Republican — He was appointed by the sitting Council to fill the vacant Ward 2 seat. He asked voters to elect him: 3,241 votes
  • Challenger Bridget Hlava, Democrat: 2,678 votes

These are unofficial vote tallies; mail-in ballots still have to be counted.
