Old Bridge Man, 62, Hit And Killed While Crossing Rt. 516: Reports
Charles Breitweiser, 62, was hit and killed last Thursday night, April 4, while trying to cross Rt. 516 in Old Bridge:
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — An Old Bridge man was hit and killed while trying to cross a major road last Thursday night in that town, according to NJ.com and the Home News Tribune.
Charles P. Breitweiser III, 62, was struck by a pick-up truck at 10:49 p.m. Thursday, April 4 while he was trying to cross Rt. 516, according to their report.
He was struck in the area of White Oak Lane.

Breitweiser died of his injuries. This was not a hit and run; the driver who hit him remained at the scene.
