Old Bridge Man Broke Into Aberdeen Businesses, Cars, Police Say

Police say he broke into several businesses and cars along Rt. 35 in Aberdeen between the late evening of Aug. 7 and early morning Aug. 8:

ABERDEEN, NJ — An Old Bridge man broke into several businesses and cars along Rt. 35 in Aberdeen this August, said Aberdeen Township Police.

The Old Bridge man is Johnathan Ruck the second.

Police say he broke into several businesses and vehicles on State Highway 35 in Aberdeen between the late evening of August 7 and the early morning of August 8; police did not identify which businesses.

Once Ruck was identified as the suspect, Old Bridge Police detectives and patrol officers responded to his home. A search of his home revealed numerous stolen items, plus police say he had stolen items on his person. Several of those items have been returned.

Some of the items are still awaiting identification from the victims.

Ruck was charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft. He was taken into police custody.

The Aberdeen Township Police Department wishes to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Detective Thomas Wagner, Detective Ron Osadacz, Detective Heather Ford, Detective Louis Nanna, and Patrolman Christopher Shaw.
