OLD BRIDGE, NJ — These are all the arrests made for the month of July. Old Bridge Police just published it Tuesday on their Facebook page.

The Old Bridge Township Police Department made the following arrests between July 1 through July 31, 2024:

On July 3, 2024, a 33-year-old Plainfield resident was arrested and charged with Obstruction of the Administration of the Law. He was also found to have warrants out of Hamilton and Metuchen. He was processed and transferred to the custody of the Metuchen Police Department. Officer J. Candurra was the arresting officer.

On July 4, 2024, a 30-year-old Plainfield resident was found to have a warrant out of Plainfield following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He was issued a summons for Careless Driving. He was processed and transferred to the custody of the Plainfield Police Department. Officer Fuentes was the arresting officer.

On July 6, 2024, a 35-year-old Matawan resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle stop on Route 34. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Walsh was the arresting officer.

On July 6, 2024, a 41-year-old Parlin resident was arrested and charged with Shoplifting from the Rt. 9 Walmart. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Paterek was the arresting officer.

On July 7, 2024, a 48-year-old Laurence Harbor resident turned himself in for an Old Bridge warrant. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Perrone was the arresting officer.

On July 8, 2024, a 39-year-old Parlin resident was arrested for a N.J. State Parole warrant. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Hartmann was the arresting officer.

On July 8, 2024, a 36-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested for warrants from Howell Township and Fayetteville N.C. after leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash in Old Bridge. She was also charged with Careless Driving and Uninsured Motor Vehicle. She was processed and transferred to the custody of the Howell Police Department. Officer Hartmann was the arresting officer.

On July 8, 2024, Wilson A. Familia, Jr., a 21-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Assault by Auto, and Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury related to a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 2 on Route 9 by Spring Valley Road. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Connolly was the arresting officer. This was the fatal crash: Man Charged With Manslaughter In Old Bridge Crash That Killed His Wife Both drivers were going over 100 mph when they collided with each other on Rt. 9 that night, said the prosecutor.

On July 9, 2024, a 33-year-old resident of Monument Beach, M.A., was arrested and charged with Fugitive From Justice, on a warrant out of Bourne Police Department in Massachusetts. She was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On July 9, 2024, a 36-year-old resident of Monument Beach, Massachusetts, was arrested and charged with Fugitive From Justice, on a warrant out of Bourne Police Department in M.A. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On July 10, 2024, a 51-year-old Freehold resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing, and Consent of Breath Samples following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 18. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Simeon was the arresting officer.

On July 10, 2024, Benjamin D. Futerman, a 32-year-old Manalapan resident was arrested and charged with Aggravated Manslaughter and Death By Auto related to a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on June 2, 2024, on Route 9 by Spring Valley Road. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Detective Flynn was the arresting officer. Again, this incident: Man Charged With Manslaughter In Old Bridge Crash That Killed His Wife It was Futerman's wife who was killed in the crash. He was the driver and he survived.

On July 11, 2024, a 25-year-old Toms River resident, was arrested and charged with Forgery, Forged Writing and Theft of Moveable Property following an investigation into on online fraud scheme. She was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Detective Weiss was the arresting officer.

On July 11, 2024, Antonio J. Perez, a 29-year-old Irvington resident, was arrested and charged with Robbery, Possession of a Firearm for Unlawful Purpose and Possession of a Handgun following a lengthy investigation into the armed robbery of a Brinks truck in the parking lot of the Old Bridge Home Depot in October of 2023. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Detective Cannillo was the arresting officer.

On July 13, 2024, a 42-year-old Keyport resident, was released from the Monmouth County Correctional Institution and found to have a warrant out of Old Bridge. Old Bridge officers responded to Monmouth County Correctional Institution and took him into custody. He was brought to Old Bridge, processed for the warrants, and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Karabin was the arresting officer.

On July 13, 2024, a 39-year-old Howell resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officers Annuzzi and Petrides were the arresting officers.

On July 13, 2024, a 43-year-old South Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Reckless Driving, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Improper Passing. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 14, 2024, a 25-year-old Old Bridge resident, was found to have a warrant out of Linden following a motor vehicle stop on Route 9. He was also issued summons for Improper Passing, Operating a Slow Speed in Traffic, and Failure to Provide an Insurance Card. He was processed and released. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 14, 2024, Diego A. Terrazas Santos, a 37-year-old Keyport resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected cocaine), Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, and Drug Possession by a Motor Vehicle Operator following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 35. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Serpico was the arresting officer.

On July 17, 2024, a 34-year-old South Amboy resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Failure to Observe a Traffic Signal, Traffic on Marked Lanes, and Improper Passing following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 17, 2024, a 32-year-old Matawan resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Open Container of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle following a motor vehicle crash on Rt. 34. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 17, 2024, Mattias A. Hallencreutz, a 51-year-old Pittsburgh, P.A. resident, arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Reckless Driving, Drug Possession by a Motor Vehicle Operator, Possession of CDS, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a motor vehicle crash on Rt. 35. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Dorsainvil was the arresting officer.

On July 18, 2024, a 33-year-old Parlin resident, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief with Damage, Obstruction of the Administration of the Law, and Resisting Arrest, following an altercation with employees at the Liquor City on Rt. 9. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer J. Candurra was the arresting officer.

On July 20, 2024, Jose L. Ayala-Garcia, a 39-year-old Plainfield resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected cocaine) and Distribution of Narcotic Drug (18 bags of suspected cocaine). He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Simeon was the arresting officer.

On July 20, 2024, Daniel O. Moreno-Garcia, a 27-year-old Somerville resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected cocaine) and Distribution of Narcotic Drug (18 bags of suspected cocaine). He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Simeon was the arresting officer.

On July 20, 2024, Jose Ines Ramirez Alvarado, a 38-year-old Plainfield resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Possession of CDS (suspected cocaine) and Distribution of Narcotic Drug (15.2 ounces cocaine). He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Simeon was the arresting officer.

On July 20, 2024, a 38-year-old Paterson resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle crash on Route 9. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On July 20, 2024, a 49-year-old North Bergen resident was found to have a warrant out of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. He was also issued a summons for Failure to Observe a Traffic Signal and Driving with an Expired License. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer A. Weiss was the arresting officer.

On July 21, 2024, a 23-year-old Newark resident was found to have warrants out of Newark following a motor vehicle stop on Route 9. He was also issued a summons for Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Serpico was the arresting officer.

On July 21, 2023, a 35-year-old Plainfield resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, and Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 34. He was processed and released pending a court order. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On July 22, 2024, a 37-year-old Keyport resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, and Traffic on Marked Lanes following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 22, 2024, Robert P. Bologna, a 52-year-old Hazlet resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected crack cocaine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On July 23, 2024, a 26-year-old Perth Amboy resident was found to have a warrant out of Edison following a motor vehicle stop on Route 9. She was also issued a summons for Careless Driving and Improper Passing. She was processed and transferred to the custody of the Edison Police Department. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 24, 2024, Mahathir A. Tanko, a 29-year-old Parlin resident, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Janks was the arresting officer.

On July 24, 2024, a 51-year-old North Brunswick resident was arrested by the North Brunswick Police Department and found to have a warrant out of Old Bridge. Old Bridge officers responded to that department and took custody of Mr. St. Louis. He was processed for the warrant and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officers Eriksen and Grigoli were the arresting officers.

On July 24, 2024, Ramon Rodriguez, a 25-year-old Perth Amboy resident, was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property and Distribution of Prescription Legend Drug. He was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Peitrulewicz was the arresting officer.

On July 25, 2024, a 46-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle stop on Route 9. Officer Dokouslis was the arresting officer.

On July 25, 2024, Luzauir Polidossantos, a 53-year-old Newark resident, was arrested and charged with Theft of Moveable Property. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Heredia was the arresting officer.

On July 25, 2024, Alexandra Marquesdasilva, a 52-year-old Newark resident, was arrested and charged with Theft of Moveable Property. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Heredia was the arresting officer.

On July 26, 2024, a 48-year-old Marlboro resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Fuentes was the arresting officer.

On July 26, 2024, a 48-year-old Matawan resident was found to have a warrant out of Washington Township after police were called to his location for an unrelated incident. He was processed and transferred to the custody of the Washington Township Police Department. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 27, 2024, a 46-year-old Ocean Township resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Careless Driving, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Consumption of Alcohol by a Motor Vehicle Operator, and Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 35. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Landi was the arresting officer.

On July 27, 2024, a 20-year-old Freehold resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle stop on Cottrell Road. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Dorsainvil was the arresting officer.

On July 28, 2024, a 41-year-old South Amboy resident was found to have warrants out of South Plainfield and New Brunswick after police responded to her location for an unrelated incident. She was processed and transferred to the custody of the New Brunswick Police Department. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On July 28, 2024, a 45-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested by the Hazlet Police Department and found to have multiple warrants out of Old Bridge. Old Bridge officers responded to that department and took custody of Mr. Swietlik. He was processed for the warrant and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officers A. Weiss and Petrides were the arresting officers.

On July 28, 2024, a 33-year-old resident of the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Failure to Observe Traffic Signal, Refusal to Consent to Breath Samples, and Refusal to Submit to Chemical Testing following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 18. She was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Serpico was the arresting officer.

On July 28, 2024, a 39-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving following a motor vehicle crash on Owens Road. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Symanski was the arresting officer.

On July 29, 2024, a 48-year-old Matawan resident was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, and Uninsured Motor Vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Laurence Parkway. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Rivera was the arresting officer.

On July 29, 2024, a 50-year-old Old Bridge resident was found to have a warrant out of Holmdel following a motor vehicle stop on Ferry Road. He was issued a summons for Driving With a Suspended Driver’s License and Traffic on Marked Lanes. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 29, 2024, a 52-year-old Old Bridge resident was arrested on warrants out of Old Bridge and Clark. He was processed and released pending a court date. The Street Crimes Unit was responsible for the arrest.

On July 30, 2024, a 32-year-old New Brunswick resident was arrested on a warrant out of Old Bridge. She was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officer Shannon was the arresting officer.

On July 30, 2024, Bogdan Tikhonov, a 39-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Fire Zone, Reckless Driving, Possession of CDS (suspected heroin) and Under the Influence of CDS following a motor vehicle stop in Parkwood Apartments. He was also found to have warrants out of Old Bridge. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 30, 2024, a 47-year-old Union City resident was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was also found to have a warrant out of Point Pleasant. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Jaikissoon was the arresting officer.

On July 30, 2024, a 47-year-old Union City resident was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property. He was processed and released pending a court date. Detective Caffey was the arresting officer.

On July 30, 2024, a 33-year-old Dumont resident was arrested on a warrant out of Old Bridge. She was processed and remanded to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center. Officers Annuzzi and Walsh were the arresting officers.

On July 30, 2024, a 55-year-old Jersey City resident was found to have warrants out of the Union Count Sheriff’s Office, Newark and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He was processed and transferred to the custody of the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Ramm was the arresting officer.

On July 30, 2024, aa 25-year-old Elizabeth resident was placed under arrest for motor vehicle violations including Unlicensed Driver, Unregistered Driver, Uninsured Driver, Failure to Inspect, Fictitious Plates, and Failure to Signal. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Ramm was the arresting officer.

On July 31, 2024, Michael J. Cassidy, a 44-year-old Beachwood resident, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Traffic on Marked Lanes, Possession of CDS, and Under the Influence of CDS following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 18. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Annuzzi was the arresting officer.

On July 31, 2024, a 40-year-old Bronx, NY resident was found to have a warrant out of Mansfield, following a motor vehicle stop on Rt. 9. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Rhoades was the arresting officer.

On July 31, 2024, Carmine Battaglia, a 44-year-old Old Bridge resident, was arrested and charged with Possession of CDS (suspected cocaine) and Loitering to Obtain or Sell CDS in Public. He was processed and released pending a court date. Officer Gavares was the arresting officer.

It should be noted that all arrestees are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Domestic violence related arrests have been removed to protect the privacy of their victims. During the month of July, the Old Bridge Police Department arrested 22 people for Domestic Violence related crimes.

The names of defendants who are juveniles or involved in ongoing investigations have been removed.

Officers responded to or initiated 4,636 calls for service between July 1st, 2024, and July 31st, 2024, including 197 motor vehicle accidents, 198 alarms, 389 first aid calls, 20 fire calls, 102 suspicious person/vehicles, and 87 welfare checks.
