Parlin Woman Voted By Mail Using Dead Family Member's Name: Prosecutor
Voting officials say Lori Mulligan, 58, voted by mail using the name of a deceased family member.

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — Two Middlesex County women are charged with voter fraud in the 2024 presidential election, the Middlesex County Prosecutor announced Friday.
Lori Mulligan, 58, of Parlin, was charged with fraudulently voting by mail, a third-degree crime.
Voting officials say Mulligan voted by mail using the name of a deceased family member.

In a separate incident, but also in the past week, Katherine Fokas, 57, of Monroe, was separately charged with submitting a forged Application for a Mail-In Ballot, also a third-degree crime. It is alleged that she submitted the forged application on behalf of a deceased family member. Fokas was also charged with impersonation and forgery, both third-degree crimes.
The Middlesex County Board of Elections first found the irregularities in the ballots, and asked the county prosecutor to investigate.
