Police: Aberdeen Man Arrested After Repeatedly Punching and Spitting on Officers
The 33-year-old man was described by police to be "highly intoxicated", and attacked another member of his household.

The Aberdeen Township Police have charged an Aberdeen man with assault and resisting arrest after responding to the scene of a domestic disturbance call at his residence, according to police officials.
On October 4, 2014, at approximately 3:20 a.m., officers arrived to the Willow Street residence and found Alex Thetford, 33, highly intoxicated. He then assaulted another member of the household, according to Chief John Powers.
When P.O. Martin Walsh attempted to take him into custody, Mr. Thetford spit in the officer’s face, attempted to tackle him, and punched the officer repeatedly. He continued to resist the officers’ attempts to take him into custody. With the assistance of P.O. Anthony Marone, he was eventually subdued and brought to headquarters.
