Theresa Dolan, 82, of Aberdeen Dies

Theresa M. Dolan, 82, of Aberdeen, passed away on January 4th, at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born in New York City, she lived in Brooklyn prior to moving to Aberdeen 32 years ago.

Prior to her retirement, she was a unit secretary at Bayshore Community Hospital, and was a Testing Assistant at Brookdale Community College. She was formerly a member of the Rosary Society at the Little Flower R.C.Church in Brooklyn, NY.and was a member of the Columbiettes LaSalle Council 1454 in Brooklyn as well.

She was a parishioner of St. Benedict R.C.Church in Holmdel, where she was also a Cafeteria Aide.

Theresa was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 2000, by two brothers and by two sisters. She is survived by her sons Thomas and his wife Michele, and James, by her daughters and their husbands Barbara and her husband Henry Sonntag, and Christine and her husband George Hunkele, by her 6 grandchildren Mary Ellen, Tricia, George, Alyssa, Christian and Thomas, and by a great grandson Connor.

Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel, NJ on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Benedict R.C. Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel.
